Welcome! Thank you for taking your time to read about us. We realize you are making one of the most important, selfless, decisions of your life and we commend you for the courageous choice to place your precious baby with a loving family. We can only begin to imagine the difficult times you are going through, but be 100 percent confident that we will love, cherish, and protect your baby. These are hard times for you and we know the importance of selecting the right adoptive parents for your child. We hope that by telling you who we are, what we stand for, and about our family, it will help you ease your pain and know that you have placed your child with a loving couple. Who We Are We are Omar and Arturo, we live in California. We met 6 years go and fell in love at first sight. Since our first date we knew we had something special, we both wanted to adopt a baby and become a family. Our love grew and after 8 months of dating, we had our engagement ceremony on December 17, 1999. We have been sharing our life with love and respect for 6 years. We both love to travel and experience the best of every culture, and enjoy each others company while doing so. We often go on weekend getaways to San Diego, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, and San Francisco or simply spend the weekend with our family. We want to be able to share our wonderful life experience with our adoptive son/daughter, and offer your child the best family atmosphere filled with love. We are dedicated to fulfilling our dream of becoming parents. We have been planning and preparing for over 1 year and we feel that we are ready to begin our journey towards parenthood. Our philosophy is to give everyone respect, compassion and understanding; knowing that only through hard work, education and having a strong spiritual belief can life's blessings become a reality. These are the moral upbringings we want to instill in our blessed child. We are able to provide a healthy home environment that is emotionally and financially stable. We purchased a beautiful four bedroom home in a middle class neighborhood in California. We have lived in our home for two years along with our two dogs, Daphne and Sasha. After 6 years of being in a committed relationship, we have decided to start a family and offer your child two Dads that are willing to provide everything life has to offer. About Omar I was born in Tijuana, Mexico in 1974 where I attended school until I was 8 years old. My family moved to San Diego in 1984 with my two siblings, Edgar and Krisvell where we went to school and lived most of my life. My mom still lives there. I had a wonderful upbringing as a child. We still take family vacations to my mom’s birthplace in Mexico every summer, spring and especially for Christmas. My family instilled in me that family comes first. My mom was always there providing love and support for whatever we wanted to do. My dad always supported us to go to school and college. I grew up always preferring school to sports. I excelled in academics and did okay with sports. I knew the importance of an education and how it would help me accomplish the goals I had set for myself in high school. I was enrolled in honor classes and took Advance Placement courses in high school and was able to get a full scholarship to Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island. This was the greatest experience of my life, I was able to grow personally and professionally, I can look back and say that everything I accomplished was for a reason; which is to be successful and most importantly to make my mom and siblings proud of me. I have been working for a financial institution for 7 years. My work has enabled me to travel all over the United States and the Caribbean. I want to give your child the opportunity to take full advantage of school and become even more successful. I want him/her to experience life with love, compassion, understanding, and with the importance of completing college and give him/her unconditional love and support. About Arturo Arturo comes from a family that includes 4 sisters and 1 older brother, nine nephew and nieces, and eight great nephews and nieces. I also have a wonderful mom that played dual roles as mother and father while we were growing up. My father passed away in 1979. Mom took care of all of us by working very hard showing us that with hope and hard work, anyone can succeed in life. As you can see I come from a large family. Having grown up in a big family I always had the support of my family encouraging me to the best in everything I do. I have graduated with my Masters in Advance Studies from University of California, San Diego. I truly feel that with the support, love, and upbringing I had, I was able to finish school. I also work at a health center as Director of Programs, and now I help people get medical care for their family and children. My family is spread throughout Southern California. Half of my family lives in Los Angeles and the other in Imperial. We have family reunions during Thanksgiving and Christmas. The entire family gets together to give thanks for our blessings and for being a family. This is the kind of life we want to give to our adoptive child. A life that is filled with warm family sentiments, Love, support, and financial security, in order for him/her to grow up with an education, a career, and the opportunity for him/her to become the best person he/she can be. About our Family We are lucky enough to have the support and blessing of both our families and friends in our decision to adopt. Our families play a big part of our lives. One promise to you is that your baby will be surrounded with family and friends that continuously express sentiments of love and support. We are a loving couple and most importantly we respect each other. We have fun, especially since Arturo loves to make people laugh. We love to have our family and friends over and have BBQ’s or just to visit. We want to be able to instill in your baby our love and the importance of spending time with us, our family. All we can say is that your baby will be in a home which has been created full of love, compassion and a sense of family. It is impossible to tell you everything we have planned for the baby, but we can tell you how much this baby will mean to us. We have planned to be parents and we can promise you that you will be the only mother of our son/daughter. Only you can decide to place your child with us, we are ready and most importantly welcome a new addition to our family with open arms and an open hearts.
